Choosing a wedding photographer might become a complicated deal. Go to WWW and find few good ones in your area. How would you know they are good? Look at their online portfolios and websites. Website's design has to make an impression clear and detailed creation and thought given to every detail. It's a good idea of meeting few different wedding photographers and talk to them. Do you like their style? Do you like the manner he or she behaves? You will have him for the whole wedding and your family got to feel comfortable with him too. You want to get great shots and not their heads turned off photographer's bad breath, right?
If you like him, his portfolio and attitude, it's time to ask about the price. You might want him to stay for the whole wedding or just part of it, make additional alterations to your photos like photo retouching or color correction. Does he provide scrapbooking or you would prefer to do it yourself?
Sixth: Wedding operator
All the said above about wedding photographers applies as well to wedding operators. The difference is that wedding operator's charges might be much higher than photographer's. Think carefully before submitting yourself to these prices. Maybe you might be happy with pictures all along or have an amateur operator cousin who would do the job for less.
Seventh: Food
If you don't want your guests to die of hunger, you need to take care of good provision for them. If you already have a list of guests, try to think of food mostly all of them would love eating. If you have a really huge list of guests and they all have different tastes, you might divide them to sub-groups and apply the same method to them. This way you will have few different menus and satisfy all of them.
Eighth: Wedding invitations
Wedding invitations is a costly thing especially when done using engraving. However, special ordered custom design can add more flavor to your wedding. There are few internet services that can provide decent printing for your personalized wedding invitations. At some, you can enter the details of your order right on a website and get an approximate time and price for getting it done.
Tenth: Transportation
Hiring a limo might get you noticed and your wallet empty. If you live in NYC it's cheaper to get services like that than in a small town when you have one limo service for the whole county. They might be busy as well. Think of everyone who you need to fit into the car/cars and guests who would attend the wedding on their own.
Eleventh: Your first night
Wedding night is one of the most romantic things I can think of. Choosing the side of penthouse of the best hotel you will never regret of making the decision. No matter where your relationship will go in future, you can keep the memories of the night on expensive sheets, big bed, soft pillows, big balcony and taste of strawberries in your heart and mind. Get something you always wanted to and pumper yourself with luxury you both deserve.
